survey.

Thu Oct 15, 2009, 2:08 AM
Oh my, an update? I felt nostalgic for the days when I actually did surveys, having seen this one in :icongoodcitizen:'s journal, and proceeded to fill it out. :)

Why did you join this site?
I wanted to look at the gallery of an online friend and ended up joining.

What does your username have to do with you?
I used to name my characters using an online English-Finnish dictionary. I came up with Talvitera (winter's edge) for one of them and used it when I signed up for dA. The character's been renamed Talvi Grey, but I've never bothered to change my username.

What is your current icon of?
A creepy masked green color schemed bird girl. Figures.

How many watchers do you have, and how many people are you currently watching?
I watch 60, 74 watch me.

Do you have more than one account?
I have a photography account, :iconeluthen:.

Name 3 of your favorite artists on DA.
Hmm...:iconpuimun:, :iconthienbao:, and :iconenayla:.

What deviant do you admire because of their personality?
:iconjacquelynfisher:, :iconcallisto-chan:, :icongoodcitizen:, :iconarillus:.

How many people on here do you actually know in reality? Post their avatars.
:iconlovelyshikky:, :icongoodcitizen:, :iconarillus:, :icondangerousinred:, :iconaquilolumen:, and more people who are inactive and/or acquaintances.

Do you comment, fave, or both?
Usually fave. My comments aren't that amazing anyway. :9

What do you typically post on deviantart?
Open Canvas digital "paintings" which I finish at a very slow rate and miscellaneous barely-good-enough-to-escape-scraps cgs which are completed more quickly.

Do you participate in clubs or contests here on DA?
Not really.

What is your most popular deviation?
Possibly the original creepy masked green color schemed bird girl.
[link]
It's barely ahead of my Sabriel fan art.

What's your favorite submission in your favorites gallery?
[link]
THIS.

What are the things you wish you could draw better?
Pretty much everything.

Are you a subscriber?
No.

How many hours a day do you spend on DA?
Probably not even one.

Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
Relatively fast.

What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
Nobody asks me anything...except whether I'm Finnish (answer: no), but that doesn't annoy me.

What is the most annoying comment you get?
"its cool" and other such eloquent dissertations.

What inspires you?
Music, boredom, moths, plants, birds, Victorian clothing, Venetian masks.

Do you use any traditional media?
Watercolors, rarely.

Do you associate people online with their icons?
I don't even notice their icons half of the time.

Have you ever suggested a Daily Deviation?
No.

Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Actually, I've never particularly felt like leaving. I have pruned the old art out of my gallery, though, not wanting to look at it.

And there you have it. :)

I have put up the black and white feature, but am asking that everyone who participated go view it to see if they have been featured. This way, the artists will get more exposure, and everyone will get to see what I decided to choose.
You can find the feature in my journal on my page.
Thanks again for sharing your pieces with me!
